Extra cash is coming June 5- here’s who qualifies

The next installment of the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit should be hitting accounts by June 5th. You don’t have to apply for this but you do have to qualify. The amount you get also depends on a few things.

You qualify if:
• You filed your taxes
• You’re 19+ (or have a spouse/kids)
• Your income is below CRA limits SEE HERE

Th money should automatically be deposited into your account if you have that set up with your taxes with the CRA.

Here are the next dates to keep an eye on for the rebate!

• July 3, 2026
• October 3, 2026
• January 3, 2027
• April 3, 2027
