This morning we start off with Morgan Wallen firing back at the “nonsense” rumors following his decision to cancel a Pittsburgh show only days after his piano-flipping incident. He went to social media and explained the concert cancellation was due to safety concerns with severe weather forecasts, not linked to “a lot of nonsense about me that just isn’t true.”
Some Riley Green fans would know that his legal first name is Johnathan. So why has Riley been his preferred name his whole life? He says: “I got the name Riley because my great-granddaddy Paul, who I didn’t know, got a little dementia, and he started calling my dad Riley. My dad’s name is Kevon.” That is why his parents decided to pass the name down to their first son and we know Johnathan as Riley Green.
Finally Shaboozey released his single ‘Cowgirl’ on Friday. Following the April release of ‘Born To Die’, Cowgirl is the latest preview of his concept album “The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales”, out July 31. We get a first listen this morning.
