Starting Friday: say goodbye to fees for switching phone & internet providers

This Friday, cell and internet companies will not be allowed to charge customers for switching to another company, cancelation fees and activation fees. This could really help the consumer find the best price for the service they want and it might force some of these bigger companies to drop their rates!

Of course, the big question now is: will prices really go down, or will companies find other ways to make up the difference?

Either way, it finally gives us a bit more control over something most of us pay for every single month!
