This morning we start with another newcomer making her mark on the country music world.
Stella Lefty’s ‘Boston’ is on top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart for a second week. This makes her the first solo woman with a debut single that has spent multiple weeks at top spot on the Country Airplay since Gretchen Wilson. Gretchen’s ‘Redneck Woman’ held top spot for 5 weeks in back in 2004.
During Luke Bryan’s tour stop in Nashville on Thursday, Carrie Underwood joined him on stage where they announced they are both returning to “American Idol” in 2027. No changes as Lionel Richie and Ryan Seacrest are also coming back for Season 25.
Ella Langley had a hilarious reply when a fan asked her out on the spot. In a viral moment captured on TikTok a fan shouting at Langley through a fence asks: “How many likes to take you on a date?” Her response: “Not enough in the world.” Ella and Tucker Wetmore have been a rumored item for a while now.
And award-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter Jordan Davis has a new single, “Mess”
This is the follow-up to his #1 single “Turn This Truck Around”.
This unapologetic track, “Mess” hits Canadian Country radio with Davis putting a fresh, candid spin on moving on, only to discover that the person who hurt him still has the power to undo all the progress he’s made.
