A new phone scam is making the rounds in Lunenburg county.
RCMP say a woman has been calling around claiming she is collecting money on behalf of the police force.
The caller says she is raising money for anti-bullying programs and asks for a credit card number.
Police say they do not ask people for money over the phone.
They are reminding residents to just hang up if they receive suspicious calls.
