A boost for some homeowners in Yarmouth.
The province has announced over 180 homes in the south end of the town are eligible for grants.
They include homes on Williams, Forbes, Kempt, Water, Haskell and Albert streets and Marshall Lane.
Private properties can receive up to $3,000 while rental properties may qualify for $2,000 per unit, but landlords have to match it.
The money would go towards projects like landscaping, painting and repairs.
Housing Nova Scotia staff will deliver applications over the next few weeks to homes in the area.
