A candidate for mayor in Shelburne wants to see greater promotion of the town’s natural assets as a means of attracting new industries. Bob Sinden says the area has a lot of offer like public safety and its history. He believes industries such as Cooke Aquaculture, which is expanding, are paying attention.
And that future according to Sinden is … bright. He foresees increased health care and tourism promotion to bring new businesses and jobs to the area. Sinden, P.G. Comeau and Karen Harris-Mattatall are challenging incumbent Alan Delaney for the mayor’s position in the October 20-th elections.
