Safety will be key when the relaunch of Bluenose II takes place in Lunenburg next weekend. Officials are working around the clock to ensure the launch is successful and iron out logistics. President of the Lunenburg Shipyard Alliance, Peter Kinley, says the launch of the massive schooner is quite complex.
The relaunch of Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador will take place next Saturday before 9AM when tides are high. Thousands of visitors are expected to line the Lunenburg waterfront to watch the historic event.
