Hope you topped up your gas tank before midnight last night. As expected, gasoline prices at South Shore pumps have taken a hike this morning. Following on the heals of a similar increase in New Brunswick the night before, this province’s utility and review board set prices overnight here. Regular self serve is selling this morning for a dollar-44 a litre … thats a 5 cent increase from yesterday. Diesel is down though to a dollar-35-point 6 …. thats a cent and a half lower. Heating oil is down by a similar amount.
