There’s a bigger police presence at Province House in Halifax. Spokesperson with Internal Services, Brian Taylo,r says it’s in response to the shootings in Ottawa. He says visitors are being banned. Taylor says they are taking necessary precautions include screening of jackets and bags for those with appointments. He adds a metal detector is always used. Taylor says the session is going ahead as usual.
