The MLA for Chester-St. Margaret’s is taking a leave of absence.
Denise Peterson-Rafuse announced today she’ll be taking time of to deal with ongoing health concerns.
Recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis Peterson-Rafuse is receiving treatment.
Her office will remain fully staffed while she’s away.
The Speaker of the House has given permission for Peterson-Rafuse to miss time in the legislature.
There’s no word on when she will return.
