A Chester man has been charged in the 2012 death of his mother.
This is the second time John “Jack” Buckley has been arrested for the murder.
In 2012 a second degree murder charge was laid against Buckley after the body of Victoria Brauns-Buckley was found in their Borgels Point Road home.
He spent nine months in jail, but the crown dropped the case due to insufficient evidence.
New evidence has lead the police to lay a new first degree murder charge against the 22-year old.
RCMP arrested Buckley yesterday afternoon.
He will remain in custody over the weekend and is due in court on Monday.
