Sixteen community groups have received grants from the Region of Queens.
Municipal council agreed to spend $46,500 for recreational programs and services.
More than $130,000 in requests were received.
Privateer Days will get $10,000 and the Hank Snow Country Music Centre secured $6,000, as did the Queens County Fair Association.
Other grants over $3,000 were also given to the Greenfield Recreation Society, Liverpool International Theatre Festival, The Rossignol Cultural Centre and the South Queens Chamber of Commerce for Christmas on the Mersey.
