Four Vehicle Accident In Downtown Bridgewater

Minor injuries after a four vehicle crash this morning in Bridgewater.

King Street was closed for about two hours while Bridgewater Police were investigating.

Sergeant Dave Ramey says they’re still working on getting a clear picture of what happened.

“A southbound vehicle came through the intersection and struck a vehicle,” he says, “which caused a chain reaction into two other parked vehicles and then flipped onto its roof.”

Ramey says they’re not yet sure what caused the accident.

“Right now, all that’s part of the investigation. We’re not aware of anything alcohol-wise, but as for speed we’re going to have to look into that.”

He says they’ll be reviewing video footage from surveillance cameras located in the intersection.

He says while one person was taken to hospital, all injuries were minor.
