Residents of Maitland had their commute derailed yesterday morning.
A section of Highway 325 between Northfield and Big Lots roads was closed for most of the morning.
RCMP were called to a single-vehicle crash around 3:00am.
A 22 year old male was taken to hospital after the vehicle he was driving left the road and crashed into a utility pole.
The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
RCMP Sgt. Mark MacPherson says their collision analyst was on the scene for several hours.
He says they completed their investigation and the road was opened just after noon.
