The Bridgewater Big Ex has announced their lineup.
Thursday night will welcome the The Spinney Brothers to the stage Thursday, The Stanfields Friday and headlining the weekend will be The Road Hammers.
Exhibition Manager Gwen Olmstead says some people complained about having only country music.
She says this lineup mixes in Bluegrass and Rock with the Country.
“We want the older people, we want the older people, we want everyone to come,” she says.
“So we want to have something for everyone.”
The Spinney Brothers and The Stanfields will kick-off the weekend.
Headlining will be the Group of the Year winners at the 2017 CCMA’s, The Road Hammers.
She says she is beyond excited for this lineup.
“We are just, we are beyond ourselves,” she says.
“This is hopefully going to be one of our biggest years yet.”
Olmstead says this will be the last-ever live performance for the Spinney Brothers.
She says they are still in the planning stages, so decisions are still being made.
But says there will be returning favourites at the Big Ex this summer like the Ox pull, Maritime Four Horse Hitch and Children’s Day.
