A letter will be sent home to parents with students attending Pentz and Petite Riviere Elementary schools.
The letter outlines the step-by-step review of steps taken by the school board.
Board Chair Jennifer Naugler says it includes a request to the education minister for a new school build on their capital projects list.
“And, she informed us that those decisions generally come to the board sometime in the late fall.”
Naugler says there is no new information in the letter.
But, the board wanted to make sure families were informed about the process.
