A product invented in Lockeport is bubbling through beer communities across Nova Scotia.
FizzWizz is an innovation that controls the rate of brew carbonation in craft beer production and saves breweries big bucks.
Inventor Guy Tipton says manufacturing in the South Shore has its perks.
“Any technology development, you really have to look at your position and where you are, what is an advantage for us to be here. With all these breweries popping up along the South Shore, suddenly we have a fantastic testing bed.”
He says the product has landed in 29 breweries across Canada and the United States since it launched in January.
Tipton adds product inquiries are growing, and breweries as far as New Zealand have shown interest.
