A number of prank phone calls have led to charges being laid against a 17-year-old in Nova Scotia.
RCMP in Halifax say six prank 911 calls were made Saturday from a pay phone in Hammonds Plains.
Police tried to arrest the youth but the person threatened officers with a knife.
However, the suspect dropped the weapon and was taken into custody.
The accused faces charges including assault with a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
