Multiple fire departments are on scene of a woods fire in Caledonia.
North Queens Fire Chief Chris Wolfe says it appears a transformer exploded sending sparks into the woods causing the fire to start.
Wolfe says they’ve managed to get it under control in fairly short order.
He says no one was injured and no property was lost.
This is one in a series of three fires in Queens County.
All three are believed to have been caused by electrical issues.
