Motorcycle Clocked Going 156 km/h on Highway 103

A 30 year-old man from Calgary has to face the music after driving his motorcycle too fast while intoxicated.

RCMP clocked the bike going 156 km/h in a 100 zone early Monday evening on Highway 103 in Blockhouse.

Police determined the driver had been drinking and he was given a breath test which came back roughly twice the legal limit.

The man was charged with stunting.

The man’s vehicle was impounded and his licence was suspended for a week.

He also faces a fine of just over $2,400.

A charge of impaired driving has not yet been laid.
