The Mahone Bay Visitor Information Center is looking for a temporary home.
Tuesday’s fire has caused significant damage forcing them to close.
Lisa Ali is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and also runs the VIC.
“It looks like a lot of smoke damage right now. There was some glass broken just due to the heat, but it looks like the desk that the printer was on was the main fire point.”
Ali says they’re working on ways to make sure there is a VIC of some sort over the summer months.
She says they’re considering a number of options to find a new spot nearby while repairs take place.
