Hikers Rescued At Cape Spilt

A dramatic conclusion to an afternoon hike for two Truro men.

The 27 and 29 year olds were repelling down a cliff in Cape Split on Saturday when they became stranded.

Kings RCMP responded with help from a military helicopter and a ‘High Angle Rescue Climber’.

The climber was able to bring the men safely to the beach.

They were treated by paramedics and released.
