Bridgewater: Gutsy Walk Returns For Third Year

Over 100 people are expected to show they have the guts to stand up to Crohns and Colitis.

The third annual Gutsy Walk will be held in Bridgewater to raise awareness for the causes.

One in every 150 Canadians live with these diseases.

Organizer Jody O’Donnell says they need as much help as they can to find a cure.

“We don’t have any federal or provincial funding from government’s, so everything we do is from our volunteers across the country.”

The annual economic impact of the diseases is more than $2.8-million.

O’Donnell hopes to raise $30,000 during Sunday afternoon’s event at Shipyard’s Landing.
