A local event is bringing people together to support physical and mental health for women.
‘It’s All About Her’ goes Friday and Saturday night at the Best Western in Cookville.
It raises money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Atlantic Chapter.
Organizer Gary Lohnes says the courage and strength of women inspired him to host the event.
Friday’s event is a songwriters circle while Saturday will include musical performances and a silent auction.
This is second annual event after raising $17,000 last year.
