New Lunenburg West MLA Mark Furey has been appointed to cabinet by Premier Stephen McNeil. In a CKBW and HANK-FM News interview, the new premier says he trusts Furey to move forward with repairing provincial-municipal relations.
McNeil has also appointed Yarmouth MLA Zach Churchill as the Natural Resources Minister. He tells us .. Churchill will breathe new life into the department.
McNeil is also hailing his new cabinet as the most diverse in the province’s history. He says it represents a good cross-section of the province’s population.
