SASI Finds A New Home

The former Timbermart in Shelburne is getting a new life as a resource for people with mental and physical disabilities.

The Shelburne Association Supporting Inclusion just purchased the building with an aim to get all their employment initiatives under one roof.

Coordinator Holly Perry says the work they do makes a big difference in the lives of their clients.

“It makes it so everyone has equal opportunity for employment in the community,” she says, “So that everyone can be included in being able to enhance and develop their skills.”

Perry says the goal is to help their clients transition into community jobs.

The new building will be renovated with the official move in scheduled for next spring.
