A 3.0-magnitude earthquake shook the ground and made a large rumble early yesterday evening in Yarmouth County.
Natural Resources Canada confirms the incident happened 19 kilometres north of Yarmouth at 5:43 p.m.
The agency says there are no reports of damage, and none would be expected.
People took to social media to say they heard and felt the quake in communities like Pubnico, Glenwood, Plymouth and Wedgeport.
It’s the second earthquake reported in the area in less than a year.
