The Nova Scotia government has tasked two people to look into the fuel supply management for the province.
Former Nova Scotia deputy minister Doug Keefe and former RCMP commanding officer Alphonse MacNeil have been appointed co-leads for the review.
It was prompted by a recent gas shortage in Nova Scotia.
The review will look into how the fuel supply management system failed and identify where improvements are needed.
It will also determine the cause of the gas shortage.
A report with recommendations is due in November.
