Liberal Candidate Speaks At Bridgewater Chamber Breakfast

It was a speech focused on many different local and national issues.

Liberal candidate Bernadette Jordan spoke to roughly 60 people at the Bridgewater Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast.

The Conservative government has closed nine veterans offices across Canada.

Jordan says the Liberals want to treat veterans better.

“We need enhanced support for our veterans and their families. We need to provide better education and training. We need to give them back some of the respect that’s been taken away from them.”

Jordan also says the Liberals are focusing on the health-care system and improving infrastructure in rural Nova Scotia.

The final candidates breakfast is planned for next Friday with Conservative Richard Clark.
