People in Nova Scotia have the opportunity to read more helpful information about cancer.
Cancer Care Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Provincial Library are bringing six new cancer books to all 79 libraries in the province.
The titles include ‘After you Ring the Bell. Ten Key Challenges for the Cancer Survivor,’ and ‘When a Parent is Sick – Helping Parents Explain Serious Illness to Children.’
Meg MacCallum with Cancer Care Nova Scotia says patients and families often have questions beyond their disease and treatment details.
She adds, having the books available gives people another option for information.
