Hebbs Cross Resident Declares Candidacy For School Board

A new face has decided to make a run at becoming a school board member. Jennifer Naugler will vie for a seat in district four. The mother of three from Hebbs Cross has served in a number of groups including president of Hebbville Academy’s home and school association and as a school advisory council representative. Naugler says she’s up for the challenge of being a board member.

The URB has reduced the size of the school board from 12 to 8 members. Naugler is confident a new, smaller board will be better suited.

She feels she is a strong candidate because she has children in the school system and could see how decisions would affect students. School Board elections will be held October 20.
