A Bridgewater volleyball player has been identified for Nova Scotia’s 2017 Canada Summer Games team.
Hannah Wilkie will be one of 11 players to compete in British Columbia at the National Challenge Cup.
Another nine players will be added to train with them.
The 17 year-old says she’s not confirmed to make the Summer Games team but it’s a good start.
“There is no official roster and we won’t know until March next year but I’m just really excited to be a part of this training team.”
Wilkie says this is one of her biggest volleyball accomplishments to date.
She will head to B.C. for the tournament on July 13.
