A Liverpool woman has been remanded into custody after she was charged with manslaughter in the death of Allison Ann Nowe of Bridgewater.
In addition, 26 year-old Meghan Elizabeth Nowe appeared in Bridgewater court this morning to also face charges of criminal negligence causing death, breach of probation and drug trafficking.
Court documents reveal Nowe allegedly provided Dimepheptanol, more commonly known as Methadone, to her younger sister.
The 22 year-old was taken to South Shore Regional Hospital on April 28 after a medical distress call was received by first responders on Marie Avenue.
She died later that day.
Nowe will be back in court on Tuesday.
