Fish Harvesters across the province will have to be aware of new safety regulations coming into effect July 13.
They address issues around safety gear requirements, lifesaving equipment, safety procedures, documentation and vessel stability.
Transport Canada and the Fisheries Safety Association of Nova Scotia will host information sessions across the South Shore.
They’ll be in Yarmouth and Barrington to answer questions this weekend.
A stop in Liverpool and Bridgewater is up next weekend with Meteghan and Digby the weekend after that.
