Liverpool is preparing to be sacked by pirates as Privateers Days gets underway Friday.
The three day festival will feature live music, food, events for kids and of course, pirates.
A parade will make its way through town beginning at 11:00am on Saturday.
At noon, a woodsman challenge will be hosted by Darren Hudson.
Hudson will make his way to the waterfront again that night for a log rolling display.
There will be a touch tank for kids to enjoy compliments of Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation
The weekend kicks off with a pancake breakfast at the Lions Hall at 7:00am Friday.
