There were no injuries following a house fire Tuesday afternoon in Lunenburg County.
Four fire departments were called to a home in Maitland after 1 p.m.
The two-storey house suffered extensive damage.
A family of three including a woman, her 15 year-old daughter and seven year-old son were not home at the time.
The Canadian Red Cross is assisting them with emergency lodging, food, clothing and other essentials.
Police and the Fire Marshal’s office are investigating the cause.
