A wish turned into a reality for a young Dayspring girl.
Seven year-old Hailey Rodenhiser was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia last December.
Make A Wish Atlantic helped make Hailey’s wish come true with a pop-up camper.
Her father, Leonard, says it started with a toss up between a trip to Disney or a cruise.
“And then a friend of hers from PEI decided she was going to get a camper and she kind of kept going more and more towards a camper and she said ‘A trip is two weeks, a camper is forever.’ “
Hailey is in the early stages of chemo treatments that will last two-and-a-half years.
