The RCMP are investigating after fire broke out at the abandoned power dam facility in Conquerall Mills.
The Hebbville Fire Department along with seven other departments were called to the scene around 10:20 Tuesday night.
Chief Chris Kennedy says the lower level of the structure was ablaze when they arrived on scene but it was quickly extinguished.
He says it was suspicious.
“The way that it was burning, I mean, it’s an unoccupied structure, there is no power or sources of ignition in it.”
The concrete structure didn’t suffer much damage.
A report was provided to RCMP and the provincial fire marshal’s office.
