A program that supports youth is running out of money. Lunenburg County P.R.O. Kids provides funds to youth who are not able to participate in sport, recreation and cultural activities because of financial barriers. However, the program is in desperate need of cash to fill the constant need of providing kids a chance to get involved. Recreation Program Director in the District of Lunenburg, Janice Rand, says it’s tough to keep up with requests.
Rand says it’s a sad state to turn kids away from trying to be physically active, or enjoy cultural activities. She encourages everyone to try and donate to Lunenburg County P.R.O. Kids, to help make a difference in a child’s life.
