A local group is looking to honour notable sports figures from Lunenburg County.
The Lunenburg County Sport Heritage Society are looking for athletes, teams and builders who have impacted Lunenburg County to be included on their Wall of Fame.
Society members voted on who would be inducted when the wall was established at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre last year.
Co-Chair Carroll Randall explains, this year, they are looking to the public for nominations.
“And that could be an individual wanting to nominate somebody, a sport organization wanting to nominate somebody, a school…”
Nominations will be received until April 15.
Nominations can be placed in an envelope, addressed to Chairperson of the Lunenburg County Sport Heritage Society and dropped off in person at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre guest services desk.
