A community picnic is celebrating all walks of life in Bridgewater.
The town is hosting the event today from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. inside the Baptist Church on Glen Allan Drive.
It is recognizing successful people, businesses and community projects.
Development Association Manager, Ida Scott, believes the event will help build community pride.
“For citizens to understand and feel proud of what their town has done, continues to do and what they as citizens have achieved.”
Scott says they will also welcome international students to the area as well as host games and activities for all.
Admission is free.
