The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners and the South Shore Lumberjacks will meet in the MHL playoffs for the first time ever.
The winner of the best of seven Eastlink South Division final will go on to face either Edmundston or Summerside in the league final.
Both teams needed seven games to get by their first round opponents.
The Lumberjacks won five of the six regular season meetings, including two games at the Fishtank.
The Mariners will have home ice advantage in the series, which starts Saturday night at 7:30 at Mariners Centre.
The teams will play Game 2 in Bridgewater on Monday night at 7.
