Halifax police are investigating a bank robbery.
A man entered the East Coast Credit Union on Ochterloney around 11:00 this morning.
HRP says he handed the teller a note saying he had a weapon and demanding cash.
The man was able to escape on foot.
A K-9 unit was called in to help but police were unable to find the suspect.
No one was harmed and witnesses didn’t report seeing a weapon.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s to early 30s, 5’10” with a thin build, long hair pulled back in a ponytail and no facial hair.
He was wearing a black ball cap, black jacket with a white shirt under a grey shirt and jeans.
