Not the news the Charlies Pizza South Shore Mustangs were looking for. Hockey Canada has awarded the 2016 Telus Cup to Quispamsis and Saint John, New Brunswick. Chair of the host committee, Michael Belliveau, confirmed the news Monday morning. The Mustangs were hoping to bring the national major midget hockey championship to the Clearwater Seafoods Arena in Bridgewater. Belliveau says they expect to get more details around Hockey Canada’s decision later this month.
