The RCMP say human remains were found in a wooded area of Blockhouse near Highway 103.
Few details have been provided by police but they say a man working in the woods reported the findings to them just after 4 p.m on Friday.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the person’s identity.
Foul play is not suspected.
