The search for a missing mountain biker along trails in a wooded area north of Halifax has concluded. The RCMP is now listing it as a missing persons case. Since last Thursday, hundreds of people from all across the Maritimes including military members and Natural Resources aircraft and all terrain vehicles scoured the Spider Lake area in Waverly and found no signs of 30 year old Marty Legere. He went biking that afternoon but didn’t return home. Searchers say they covered some of the most rugged terrain they had ever encountered. With the search for Legere now concluded, the RCMP is asking the public travelling the trails of Spider Lake to call them if they come across anything suspicious or out of place.
