Nova Scotians will see an increase in their power bills over the next few years.
A decision on power rates was just released by the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board.
It says residential and industrial customers will see an increase of 1.3% each year between 2017 and 2019.
Municipal and commercial customers will see increases of 0.8 and 0.7 respectively.
The amounts are in line with the rate stability plan announced late last year.
In which, NS power agreed not to raise rates by more than 1.5%.
The increases will take effect January 1st, 2017.
