Lunenburg council voted to move the playground equipment out of 250th Anniversary Park behind the Fire Hall.
The estimated cost is $3,000.
It’s unclear where the equipment will be moved to at this point.
Councillor Peter Zwicker feels the park is under-utilized and attracts older kids after hours.
Zwicker suggested the Lunenburg Academy might be a good place to add to the existing playground next the town’s historical landmark.
