Queens County RCMP are asking for help to identify who set fire to an elementary school playground.
District Commander, Paul MacDougall says someone lit a green bin on fire at Wickwire Academy on Halloween night.
He says the bin was then put inside a plastic slide damaging the playground.
“I think it just simply was an act of senseless vandalism,” he says, “and unfortunately the school and the students at the school are the ones who suffer for it.”
MacDougall says it does appear to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the RCMP
